GENERAL FUNCTION
The Oliver Peoples Corporate office is seeking a Receptionist. This person will be the first point of contact for our corporate office, and will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees. The individual will also work closely with the Manager, Store Operations to assist with various operational tasks at the office. This role will offer hands-on experience in office administration, operations, shipping, and logistics. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome business clients such as influencers, buyers, wholesale representatives, corporate employees etc. Notify employees when guests arrive and ensure guests are comfortable.
- Manage incoming calls. Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system. Take accurate messages and deliver them promptly to the intended recipients.
- Manage the front desk/reception area. Ensure area is tidy, presentable, and well-organized at all times.
- Maintain office supplies, restocking and placing orders as needed.
- Assist with maintaining organization within the shipping area and notifying associates when packages are delivered for them.
- Monitor and replenish kitchen supplies. Keep the kitchen stocked – place food and beverage orders regularly.
- Coordinate weekly office catering.
- Monitor and maintain corporate office equipment.
- Additional responsibilities as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work Full-Time hours (Monday-Friday; 8:30AM-5:00PM)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes is a plus
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50lbs
Pay Range: 18.96 - 27.03
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
