What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registration rep position at Olympic Medical Center?
Provides excellent customer service by employing OMC’s standards. Greets all patients and visitors to our clinics in both Sequim and Port Angeles, with compassion and empathy.
Collects and accurately enters into EHR patient demographic data. Explains OMC / OMP policies and procedures necessary for registration to patients as necessary.
Collects copays and payments according to OMC finance policies. Responsible for maintaining a smooth flow of patients through the registration process and keeps patients in the waiting areas informed of any delays.
Works closely and collaboratively with Central Access staff and Clinic Back Office staff to make every patient’s experience at OMP a positive one.
QUALIFICATIONS : Education
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience
Customer Service, or hospitality experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
