Night Custodial Supervisor

The Supervisor oversees the custodial and floor tech staff at a college campus. The Supervisor's role is ensure all cleaning staff complete their assigned custodial duties meeting a high level of expectation, insure all college and Olympus safety standards are adhered to, and serve as the liaison between the front-line cleaning staff and Olympus management. The schedule is Mon-Fri 4pm-12am.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Drive the highest level of cleaning services through coaching, inspection, and accountability. Assist in cleaning when needed.
• Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning protocols and standards with videos, pamphlets, and hands-on approaches.
• Adhere to and enforce all college and Olympus safety standards, cleaning processes and general policies.
• Maintain proper documentation as required by the college and Olympus.
• Resolve all customer requests in the appropriate time frame.
• Complete and deliver reports or other administrative requests.
• Support and mentor cleaning staff as needed maintain morale, drive, and overall employee job satisfaction.

Certifications and Licenses:

• Valid Driver's License

• Comply with all safety regulations, policies, standards, and training at all times
• Follow all Olympus policies and procedures outlined in the handbook, code of conduct and any other materials as provided
• Complete all assigned tasks as assigned and requested within the given timeframes
• Work effectively and efficiently with coworkers to deliver the highest standards of cleanliness
• Communicate any concerns or repair needs to the PM
• Report any inappropriate behavior or actions to the PM
• Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Support Olympus’ initiatives and technological advances
• Arrive to scheduled shift on time and in uniform, prepared to start work activities
• Inspect the work of coworkers to identify mistakes and direct the appropriate coworker to resolve the errors
• Ensure all doors are secured according to the existing “dot system” and as directed by the supervisor
• Help distribute supplies to buildings throughout the campus
• Put forth maximum effort with attention to detail in the completion of all assigned tasks

Basic Skills and Physical Requirements:

• Frequently standing and walking throughout work shift
• Kneel, bend over and reach overhead
• Understand building safety and warning systems
• Lift 20-50 lbs., 50 lbs. requires team lift
• Perform cleaning task as needed
• Learn how to clean as instructed by Olympus
• Learn and use various cleaning equipment
• Follow instructions given by PM
• Adaptable to the changing needs of the University
• Arrive to scheduled shift promptly at start time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
