Schedule: 6 days, 10 hours per day
Job Type: Short-Term: December, 2023 to May, 2024
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, packing items securely for transport and arranging necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks and data entry into inventory management systems.
- Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and accessibility of products.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and promptly.
- Perform administrative tasks, including but not limited to generating reports, updating spreadsheets, and managing documentation using MS Excel.
- Operate small forklifts up to 5t to move, stack, and organize goods within the warehouse.
- Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Forklift operation certification.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software for data entry, record-keeping, and generating reports.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and performing physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
