We’re currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our Incentives Team. In this role, the Quality Control Manager will work directly with our internal consultant team to help clients identify and claim government incentives designed to promote innovation and economic growth within the United States. Specifically, the Quality Control Manager will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients regarding accounting procedures, tax strategies, financial analyses, and operational processes. This will include serving as a valuable part of Omega’s client engagement by helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of incentive eligibility cases. Further, the Quality Control Manager will review financial analyses and regularly prepare calculations, models, and data queries. Please note: This position is fully on-site.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work closely alongside a team with a variety of backgrounds to conduct technical analyses and create value for clients in a wide variety of industries
- Analyze large subsets of confidential financial and technical client data
- Leverage strong project management skills to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met
- Gather and review technical and financial documentation
- Review robust technical reports and deliverables that detail and substantiate business incentive claims
- Become an expert in multiple business credits and incentives including the Employee Retention Tax Credit and Research & Development Tax Credit
- Interface daily with Incentives Team members and review case submissions
- Conduct technical research to assist the team in new regulations and code requirements
- Work closely alongside the Director to improve workflow efficiency
- Performing quality control / assurance reviews on all final deliverables, including written legal documents, financial analyses, and calculation models
ABOUT YOU
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to evaluate numerous client data points and quickly ascertain tax credit eligibility
- Aptitude for comprehending complex compliance requirements and articulating positions in written analyses
- Desire to work with small and mid-sized businesses and passion to help clients succeed

- Capacity to prioritize projects, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Minimum 3 years of relevant prior work experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word and advanced level skillset in Microsoft Excel, highly preferred
- Acute attention to detail, expert analytical, research, and writing skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to read financial statements
- Superior organizational skills and project management skills required with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Background in Audit (Public Accounting) or Law highly preferred
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree is a requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related major is a plus
- Legal degree/law school graduate is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
