Omega Products International is the leading manufacturer of plaster wall systems, finishes, and related products. We are seeking a full-time Technical Services Specialist to manage a variety of interesting projects and tasks in our Technical Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain literature, including data sheets, specifications, details, and technical bulletins.
  • Work with marketing and sales to develop marketing literature.
  • Provide technical support by answering customer and sales reps technical questions on products, systems, and code requirements; plus, writing letters, as needed.
  • Maintain and update our third-party reports for our wall systems.
  • Run internal and third-party testing for product development.
  • Handle technical aspects to resolve internal and external customer complaints.
  • Conduct market research for new product development or product improvement.
  • Help with new product launches, including product testing, literature development, and training.
  • Help update our website content.
  • Participating in industry standards and trade groups.

Highly Preferred Skills

  • A technical degree (engineering, architecture, or sciences) and/or experience in construction or construction product manufacturing is highly desirable
  • Experience using AutoCAD and doing web development

Experience and Education

We realize that this is a specialized position that will require training and time to learn, so we are excited to invest in you. A successful candidate could have a wide range of experience, from a recent college graduate with a technical mind to a person with decades of experience in construction. The keys to success will be a willingness to learn, communicating well, paying attention to details, and having strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Job Details

  • Full-time salaried position at our Corona, CA location.

  • Salary range $65,000 to $90,000 depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
