Assembly and Service Associate
Omega TMM is a provider of world class tool measuring machines and management solutions used in the machine tool industry.
General Purpose of The Job: Build Omega presetters to factory specification per the documented processes and procedures. Perform on-site and in-house installation, service, training and product support for Omega TMM products. Act as face of Omega TMM brand to our customer. This role interacts with all facets of the organization to ensure our ideal customer experience.
Essential Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Assembly of electrical and mechanical systems of Omega TMM presetters
- Strict adherence to documented processes and procedures
- Assist as needed in operations tasks including but not limited to warehouse ops, assembly ops and shipping.
- Responsible for on-site installations, warranty and non-warranty service calls, customer training, product upgrades and in-house product repairs of presetter products.
- Be available for travel as necessary agreed upon by Operations Director and Service Manager.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions in a timely manner.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Engage in ongoing training to retain a competent level of knowledge to effectively execute the responsibilities of the position.
- Report and communicate all issues beyond the scope of the standard reports that impact customer service and/or internal product, service and operational efficiency.
- Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that embraces corporate culture and shows respect for customers and co-workers.

Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record
- Approximately 40-50% travel
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- English literacy, bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
- Ability to be flexible with work hours as the customers schedule changes
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- 5 years related experience, electro-mechanical assembly is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail in interpreting drawings and controlling inventory
- Excellent communication skills in accordance with corporate objectives

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
