What are the responsibilities and job description for the CQI Assessor position at Omnex PlanTech?
Assessor shall possess heat treating knowledge. Evidence shall include a minimum of 5 years' experience in heat treating or a combination of formal metallurgical education and heat treating experience totaling a minimum of 5 years
- Assessor shall be able to demonstrate understanding of applicable quality management system (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949) requirements related to the scope of the assessment.
- Assessor shall possess knowledge of and be familiar with the application of Automotive Quality Core Tools including Statistical Process Control, (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis, (MSA), Production Part Approval, (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, (FMEA), and Advanced Quality Planning, (APQP).
Assessor shall possess welding knowledge. Evidence shall include a minimum of 5 years’ experience in welding or a combination of formal education in welding and welding experience totaling a minimum of 5 years.
- Be an experienced Quality Management System (QMS) Internal Auditor (for example, latest edition of IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
- Assessor shall possess knowledge of and be familiar with the application of Automotive Quality Core Tools including Statistical Process Control, (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis, (MSA), Production Part Approval, (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, (FMEA), and Advanced Quality Planning, (APQP).
Experience/background with CQI-9 and/or CQI-15 preferred. Availability to support long term project with Automotive OEM, (3-4 months in duration), minimum of 10 days per month, (preference is 15-20 days of availability). Must be available to travel a minimum of 50-75% per month.
Location: United States & Mexico
Day rate for the US = $450 – 550. Day rate for Mexico = $350 – 450.
