The Position

Omni is seeking an individual to assist its marketing team in a fast paced environment. The marketing assistant position reports directly to Director of Marketing and Advertising. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer health insurance, a generous annual leave (vacation/sick/personal) package, paid holidays, 401K, life and disability insurance as well as a Monday thru Friday, 8 to 5 workweek. Our Office is located right off of I-95 (there is plenty of free onsite parking available). There is also access for public transportation (Bus & Train). The New Rochelle Metro North station is a 30 minute train ride from Grand Central Terminal and a 7 minute walk to our office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be part of a 3 person marketing team supporting and assisting with all aspects of marketing in the digital environment as well as offline.

Job Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Assist in the running of marketing projects and other general marketing duties
  • Assist with the coordination of a wide range of people, including agencies, internal teams and departments in order to facilitate offline and online deadline oriented projects implementation.
  • Assist traffic projects through internal departments, corporate offices, various vendors and agencies in order to achieve target deadlines.
  • Assist with developing testing plans and execute/implement company wide and local marketing programs.
  • Assist in assembling marketing reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations.
  • Assist with the production of marketing ads.
  • Assist with the production of marketing collaterals including business cards, banners, brochures, newsletters by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing and distribution to branches
  • Assist in managing marketing collaterals asset tracking
  • Assist with the execution and implementation of specific strategies for all social media outlets including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Groupon, Four Square, Yelp, YouTube and more.
  • Assist with competitors monitoring system
  • Assist with market research activities, using tools such as Survey Monkey
  • Assist with WordPress Website Content Management
  • Other marketing and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • An associate degree or higher.
  • Must have/maintain good personal credit.
  • Must possess office skills including basic math, reading, writing and typing at least 35 words per minute. Tests required.
  • Must be able to commute to New Rochelle, NY within 1 hour

Computer Skills:

Computer proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel),

Creative design skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Movie Maker; Dreamweaver

Website Content Management System: wordpress.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, outstanding people skills and an optimistic can do attitude
  • Possess a strong command of the English language with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills as well as an ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated organization/time management and project management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Social Media Marketing experience
  • Analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to harmoniously work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to be agile when adapting to change.
  • Strong Attendance & Punctuality Record

Pluses:

  • 1 to 2 years hands-on experience in marketing.
  • Copywriting ability and experience.
  • Prior consumer lending company work experience
  • Prior Military service or working with Military service members
