Overview:
The Director, Client Services will independently manage account plans for brands from strategic concept development through implementation and financial reconciliation, driving daily development and execution of account initiatives, and will serve as a main client contact. This individual will also leverage his or her scientific acumen and tactical experience to assist in the organic growth of the account, as well as assist with business growth in new accounts.

More than half of our business is with Medical Affairs clients. Increasingly, our clients are seeking from us capabilities in health and economic outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE) or asking that we partner with their HEOR vendor to publish manuscripts from their research. HCG has historically partnered with outside HEOR vendors when these opportunities arise.

What You Will Do:
- Manage client relationship by serving as account key contact; further account revenue growth
- Leverage all account relationships (medical, clinical) in order to increase account revenues of brands and therapeutic class categories
- Manage the development and production of account-assigned communication tactics, either independently or as part of a larger project team
- Develop external correspondence associated with tactical development and coordination
- Strengthen and leverage key opinion leader relationships to further growth of account revenue
- Support creation of annual customer tactical plan and financial estimates
- Be responsible for overall account fiscal status, including reconciliation
- Manage an entire account brand from assisting in strategic concept development through tactical implementation
- Assist with new business development through proactive outreach to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.
- Serve as primary contact for inter-agency collaborations, responsible for increasing visibility of Lumen across HCG
- This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative and covers a broad range of topics critical to our business. He/she will be part of the tam to support business through proactive thought leadership, innovation, and ability to communicate complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in relevant experience in account management, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical/biotechnology drug development, commercialization, procurement, and marketing; knowledge of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence a plus
- Degree in life science or degree in liberal arts, marketing or communications
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects within multi-functional teams and collaborate across disciplines to achieve results within aggressive timelines
- Strong listening skills with curiosity to ask questions, a keen problem solver and passionate about results
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and connect with people of varying clinical, scientific, and technical skills
- Willingness to travel
