What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Enterprise Sales Executive position at OmniData?

Overview: 

We are looking for an experienced enterprise account executive to join and expand our rapidly growing sales team as an expert to continue growth within the consulting space. OmniData is a leading data consulting firm and we’re looking for a proven sales architect to join our team. This person must be a team player with a hunter/entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to work with modern and progressive technologies.  

This is a full-cycle sales position. You will be responsible for finding and working with potential clients across multiple industries ranging from finance, retail, consumer brands, and others to understand their needs and help them formulate and design solutions to complex business data problems.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the establishment and growth of our enterprise sales division, working closely with the our internal teams to identify and secure new business opportunities. 
  • Establish essential relationships, including Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science roles, who will, in turn, be your industry advocates. 
  • Develop a deep and detailed understanding of the customer's business. 
  • Identify all important data use cases and buying centers in an opportunity, to increase the impact of OmniData in an organization. 
  • Orchestrate and use OmniData teams and partners to maximize impact on your sales motions. 
  • Expand OmniData’s use cases in existing and newly won accounts to maximize impact for customers. 
  • Work closely with target prospects to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and build lasting relationships. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5 years of practical market experience in consulting or data software industries 
  • 5 years in a customer facing capacity with strong presentation skills 
  • 5 years of experience in hunting in a greenfield space while also consulting with existing accounts to expand further use. 
  • Background of selling usage-based SaaS solutions, or other Data/ AI/ML technologies. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or other CRM.
  • Flexibility to move where the role takes you and adjust to customer and market needs dynamically  
  • A strong desire to learn and work on progressive and ever-changing technology solutions
