What are the responsibilities and job description for the Import and Customs Specialist position at On Target Staffing LLC?

Payrate : 70-75k per yr
The Import and Customs Specialist will manage all customs entries, updates and issues, as well as duty drawbacks.
Key Accountabilities:
- Handle all customs entry filings for customs clearance
- Update internal systems with custom filing dates
- Classify HTS duties on product level into internal system
- Handle all Duty Drawbacks for export shipments from the USA
- Obtain all export documents and import documents for duty drawbacks
- Advise and handle any new updates on customs programs such as new imposed tariffs
- Manage all customs issues
- Handle all requests from US Customs
- Special projects as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Licensed brokerage experience required, minimum 2 years
- Experience with duty drawbacks is preferred but not required
- Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and follow up skills
- Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per year
