Job Description: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment. You’ll be moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise in a Cross-Dock environment. Must have at least 3 – 6 months warehouse experience. Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience preferred, but not needed.
- Operator Clamp Forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials
- Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations
- Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment
- Pulls and prepares products for shipment
- Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standard
- Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
Job Requirements:
- Must have Stand up Crown reach experience
- Must have experience, or recent FL certification, on Clamp Forklift
- Must have at least 3 – 6 months warehouse experience
- Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) experience preferred, but not needed
- Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction
- Able to read numbers, letters, and work instructions
- Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
- Willingness and able to work irregular and extended hours. Including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed by customer
