What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Agent position at ON TIME TAG & TITLE?

On-Time Tag and Title is seeking customer service-oriented candidates for the full-time and part-time Title Agent Positions. Title Agents perform a variety of duties such as Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) titling and registering vehicles, performing notary public services and customer engagement.

The Title Agents will also confer with customers by telephone or in person in order to provide information about products and services; Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken; Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems; Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, and/or arrange for billing; Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, and issue service discontinuance orders, using computers.

DUTIES:

    *Responsible for all customer inquiries and questions *Provide excellent customer service at all times *Follow up to customer inquiries by taking specific action in a timely manner *Troubleshoot equipment and system problems *Problem solve to help customers resolve issues on first call *Enters data from customers into various software programs *Social media management assistance *Appropriately communicate with upset customers to resolve their inquiries *Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced, high-energy, change-oriented environment *Participates in additional training courses when needed *Performs other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor or manager *Experience with social media engagement and management on various platforms – Facebook, IG and Twitter

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate

Associate Degree

Experience: 5 years of customer service work experience.

Customer service must be the primary function of your position in order to receive work experience credit.

    *Must be 18 years old *Type 50 wpm *College Associate Degree preferred; High School Graduate or GED required *Good math skills *Advanced experience in using a desktop computer system and hardware, e.g. mouse, keyboard *Logical problem solving skills and ability to multi-task *Must have availability to work various shifts influenced by current business needs. *Ability to use Windows operating systems and navigate between various windows *Ability to work under pressure *Continuously demonstrate a high sense of urgency *Must have a keen sense of attention to detail, taking the initiative. *Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check *Must Obtain Notary Public for Maryland *Possess a high level of Professionalism *Ability to understand and empathize with customer's issues. *Work independently

TRAINING: Participate in 60 days of training

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $20.00/hour.
