What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehab tech position at On With Life?
We are hiring for a full-time and part-time Rehab Tech CNA position that will support the Polk City team. The part-time Nursing Rehab Tech will work on-site in Polk City, from 6am-6pm, two shifts per week, and on a weekend and holiday rotation.
The full-time Nursing Rehab Tech will work on-site in Polk City, from 6am-6pm, three shifts per week, and on a weekend and holiday rotation.
Experience :
Restorative CNA experience preferred.
What do the Rehab Tech CNAs do?
With assistance and training the Rehab Techs are responsible for :
- Assist with meals and adapted feeding techniques
- Attend nursing / therapy rounds
- Function as a communication / liaison between nursing and therapy teams to ensure proper follow through and understanding of therapy treatment plans. Rehab 16 rounds
- Attend PS care conferences
- Assist with dignity team and neurobehavioral challenges
- Perform range of motion on PS when appropriate
- Float to the floor to assist with CNA staffing challenges.
- Assist in applying PS splints and orthotics
- Assist with Tilt tables and pool programs
