Graphic Design - Part Time

This is a part time position up to 20 hours a week. Hourly Rate Range: $20.48 to $25.60

UNIQUE ROLE 

Graphic designers create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate audiences. 

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

• Continue to grow as a follower of Christ, so that what you do overflows from your relationship with Him.
• Help create a Culture of Development at ONE&ALL Church by recruiting, training, placing, supporting and monitoring Serve Team Members who are able to successfully duplicate your role and responsibilities.
• Meet with the Creative Director and ministries as needed to determine the scope of a project
• Collaborate with the communications team on strategies to reach a particular audience or execute a project
• Determine the message the design should portray
• Create images that identify a product or convey a message
• Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
• Select colors, images, text style, and layout
• Work with the Communications Coordinator to send out comps and receive feedback from the ministries 
• Incorporate changes recommended by the ministries into the final design
• Review designs for errors and send to proofers before printing or publishing them

• Serve at ONE&ALL Holiday Events and Special Events (e.g. Easter, Christmas, etc.). This might mean a change in your weekly schedule so that no overtime occurs. 
• Establish Objective and Key Results (OKR’s) for your ministry areas.
• Maintain a balanced work schedule, working with ONE&ALL HR Team to keep track of vacation days, sick days, days off, make-up days, personal days, etc.
• Maintain a flexible working schedule as determined by the needs of the ministry.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience with Google Suite, scheduling applications and basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with design software.
• Knowledge of social media trends, analytics and marketing. 
• Experience working for a church or large organization is preferred.
