Digestive Disease Consultants is seeking an energetic Registered Nurse - 1 day per week that possesses a positive spirit to join our team and to help drive patient success in our community. Snapshot of Daily Duties

• Assess and evaluate patient needs to provide supportive care before, during and after procedures.
• Initiate IV’s for patient sedation prior to the procedures.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician’s orders.
• Participate in patient education pre and post procedure.
• Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response.
• Provide patient education and instruction

The Must Haves

• Registered nurse. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.
• ACLS is required. As well as continuing certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.
• Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact.
