Job Posting for Account Manager (BDM) at One Stop Warehouse
The objectives of an Account Manager (BDM) is to maintain and build relationships with current and potential customers in order to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the sales team.
Key Duties
1. New business (80%)
Generate new business & onboard new customers via cold calling, networking, and customer referrals
Give sales presentations to a range of prospective customers
Attend networking events
Visit potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
Conduct sales research & identify new sales opportunities (capture details in CRM system)
Negotiate value propositions with prospective customers
2. Sales (20%)
Provide ongoing account support to existing customers
Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
Answer client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Explain and determine payment terms
Create correct orders in the system
3. Distribution
Notify customers and internal stakeholders of unforeseen delivery delays or other complications, and facilitating suitable solutions.
4. Payment process
Ensure customers payment conform to agreed terms
Obtain deposits and balance of payment from customers
About You
Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or 2 years of experience with business development, sales, or account management
Bilingual - English & Spanish
Passion for selling and have a customer centric attitude
Qualification in Sales & Marketing (or equivalent) (preferred)
Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
A strong commitment to keep customer data current in the CRM system
