As the Director of Business Development, you will join one of the fastest-growing Hospice Agencies in the desert region. Currently we serve 300 patients in our locations spread across Las Vegas, Reno and Phoenix.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for managing all aspects of marketing including managing the members of the marketing team.
- Directs all daily marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.
- Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns.
- Develop and maintain community relationships to promote hospice services.
- Serve as a resource and provide information and education to referral sources, potential referral sources, and the community.
- Meet with referring physicians and referral sources to ensure customer satisfaction, and build relationships for referrals.
- Educate referral sources about available hospice services.
- Meet sales target goals.
This position requires someone EXPERIENCED with established contacts in the healthcare community.
Other requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications preferred, Management, Marketing or another related field or work experience to be equivalent.
- At least three (3) years experience in health care marketing management, preferably in hospice care operations.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Knowledge of corporate business management.
- Demonstrates good communication skills, negotiation skills and public relation skills.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
- Must be able to pass a federal and state background check under NRS 449
