Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Develop and administer employee policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, employee benefits, and incentive programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, career development, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify HR needs and develop strategies to address them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the food industry.
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Payroll Software knowledge
