Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in hospitality, specifically for wedsing and corporate event sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
- negotiating contracts
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics
-Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs according to established profitability guidelines.
- Effectively collaborate with vendors and other departments/divisions of the company to capture and service events.
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience.
- Deliver world-class service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers, venue personnel and various supporting functions and departments.
- Thoroughly research and understand customer history and previous experiences, in order to create more personalized customer experiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Learn and adopt all SOPs related to the role and any new initiatives/programs that are implemented.
-Maintain knowledge of new product/service offerings and emerging technology supporting meetings and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a leadership role and/or in hospitality
- Strong knowledge of the market and industry trends
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales goals
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
