POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW
Position Information
Position Title: Flexible Instructional Leader Region: OSG North America
Reporting Manager: Regional Director of Education
Position Purpose
1. Acting Campus Principal: Throughout the school year we have noticed there are times where we have HR gaps in either leadership or staffing. These gaps could cause considerable impact on campuses that either do not have a Campus Principal and/or are short staffed. We have addressed this with CCS support, HR, and even bringing other Principals and staff to the campus for a short period of time. However, these situations can happen multiples times in the school year resulting with some significant setback.

2. Instructional Coach: In addition, we also want to provide more instructional coaching for our staff and having a dedicated person that can join lesson, provide feedback, and actively coach staff will help to strengthen the staff and provide a better environment for students.

Role
  • Serve as acting Campus Principal when there is a leadership gap
  • Address HR Leadership gaps through strategic leadership
  • Give confidence to the local team (students, staff, parents, community)
  • Dedicated time at the campus to keep the campus progressing
  • Provide organizational flexibility for 36 campuses
  • Help to onboard new CP
  • Instructional coach to new and existing staff
  • Serves as a LC coach at the home campus when not traveling to a campus
Additional Notes
  • Instructional Leadership experience is a must
  • Ideally a licensed Principal
  • This is a traveling role and thus there will be times where the Flexible Instructional Leader will need to be away from home for multiple months.
  • Lodging, car, and other logistics will be reviewed when long-stays are needed
  • Compensation is based on experience and location of the candidate. $90,000 . more
