ABOUT THE JOB

As the Senior Business Analyst within the Solution Network team at OneStream, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and strategic decision-making through your day-to-day responsibilities. You will serve as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders by translating business needs into technical artifacts. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will gather and analyze requirements, document business processes, workflows, and use cases. Additionally, you will lead development projects implementing product roadmap features and participate in research that will feed into the organization's strategy. Through your strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement, you will facilitate effective collaboration and drive project execution, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct requirements gathering techniques with customers and stakeholders at all levels using one or more of the following methods: interviews, workshops, surveys, job shadowing, and business process reviews.
• Translate business requirements into clear, accurate and concise functional requirements via user stories, acceptance criteria, and other artifacts including use cases, functional specifications, gap analysis, and workflow diagrams.
• Design holistic and integrated solutions that provide a streamlined user experience.
• Lead and facilitate meetings including requirements gathering sessions, project kick-offs, feature refinements, and release planning.
• Maintain an organized and prioritized backlog of requirements for development teams.
• Create project plans, manage project deliverables, and meet delivery commitments.
• Provide product specific documentation and ensure all documentation is kept up-to-date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis. This may include user manuals, job aids and training and enablement materials.
• Assist development teams in researching, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Demo and lead presentations representing software features and best practices.
• Become an product advocate and key customer advisor.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Business Analysts.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Formal Education and Certification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology or similar. CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
• BA Certification highly desired, such as: CBAP, PBA, SAFe POPM.

Knowledge and Experience

• 5 years of Business Analysis experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience that includes either, corporate finance, accounting, project management, Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Product Management and/or CPM Administration.
• Requires business and general system knowledge and incorporates knowledge from other related disciplines to solve complex business/IT problems.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and application development methodologies; has participated in a large project.
• Knowledge of one or more business domains, and a detailed understanding of how the domains relate and can be assembled into solutions that meet business and IT needs.
• Experience with business process analysis and the creation of current/future state process modeling.
• Ability to work on teams and collaborate effectively with business and technical roles, including influencing stakeholders at different management levels.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and business process optimization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent persuasion skills.
• Excellent independent planning, organizational and time management skills.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including O365, Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment preferred. Knowledge of Agile associated tools such as Jira, Rally, VSTS and/or other Agile applications is highly desired.
• Experience as a Project Manager or as a Scrum Master is a plus.
