Role Summary/Purpose:
As a leader within the Client Development & Sales Governance organization, this role is responsible for leading key enterprise-wide governance activities focused on identifying and monitoring risk with a specific focus on rigorous change management as well as planning and execution of assigned strategic efforts, and governance integrations across the CD & Sales organization supporting all five of our commercial platforms. The role requires strong program management coupled with cross functional influencing and team building skills. The role will drive activities across multiple functions, workstreams and teams toward the successful on-time completion of key initiatives and programs/ The role will provide program leadership, oversight and governance and will work successfully across all levels of the organization including program teams, sponsors, steering committees, and executive/senior leaders.
The successful candidate for this role is a strong people leader, able to think both strategically and tactically, influence in a matrixed environment, and embrace a culture of change and innovation. A proven leader with strong communication skills and prior experience with control testing, monitoring and reporting. This role will have a high level of visibility across and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Drive a culture of proactive risk management across the entire company by providing clear thought leadership and critical challenge.
- Lead a team of professionals in the execution of key change management governance activities and drive changes to these key change management governance activities where needed.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Growth leaders, and others to ensure the Tollgate is functioning in a way which ensures sound risk management.
- Provide periodic updates on the Change Control Tollgate processes, including metrics and status to senior management and regulatory bodies, as required.
- Lead and support various initiatives & critical deliverables across the CD & Sales Governance organization including integrations and specialized client efforts.
- Partner with business leaders to translate platform risk imperatives into targeted actions and programs resulting in growth and design approaches to measure success once implemented.
- Understand and execute overall governance platform strategy & portfolio dynamics to develop and support growth for governance and appropriate and action plans.
- Lead the governance efforts for all critical projects/programs/ processes for the platform, including prioritization and investment reviews.
- Support functional operating efforts inclusive of communications, processes, regulatory and compliance matters related to portfolios.
- Lead large governance functional and platform level programs and represent governance for cross functional programs to realize strategic and critical client initiatives.
- Oversee and manage the creation and execution of program workstream plans, risks/issues assessments, effective project change control.
- Create dashboards/reporting/communications to communicate project/program progress, hurdles, risks/issues, and status.
- Develop and manage rigorous program management and control plans, working closely with process owners, project teams, subject matter experts, project sponsors, champions, and senior management to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of client eco systems functional, risk and/or process management experience in the financial services industry or in lieu of a Bachelor Degree, a minimum of 11 years of functional, risk and/or process management experience in the financial services
- 5 years of experience to include:
- Experience with analytical, organizational, and decision-making responsibilities
- Understanding of business systems and processes
- Cross functional team leadership experience
- Experience working in Governance, Regulatory, Audit, or Risk Management
Desired Characteristics:
- Masters Business Administration.
- Prior CI/CD, Sales or Marketing experience
- Has previously worked on organizational transformation
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, action oriented
- Employs a collaborative skill set with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in a cross-functional, matrix organization, strong negotiating skills

Grade/Level: 14
The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
