Our company is looking for a sales manager to oversee our sales team for new and used boats. Captain’s Choice Marine is the premier boat dealership in the Carolinas, celebrating its 40th year in business. We represent the leading brands in the industry, Bennington, Chaparral, Cobalt, Malibu, Axis, Robalo and Yamaha. We operate from an on the water facility with sales and service, located on the shores of Lake Murray in Leesville, SC. Duties & Responsibilities
· Ensures the Sales Team effectively follows successful sales processes, including timely completion of paperwork, and that the customer has an excellent buying experience
· Has a continuous learning mindset, develops and maintains a high-level of product, market and industry knowledge, and obtains maintains strong familiarity of all brands at their location
· Utilizes One Water sales tools, including CRM, to ensure the team is performing daily follow up and prospecting for new customers, as well as communication on a regular basis with existing sold customers
· Builds and maintains positive customer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty, increase referrals and enhance dealer reputation
· Professionally presents products to customers and prospects, including reviewing the features and benefits of the various boats, preparing quotes, completing trade evaluations and presenting pricing consistent with achieving margin and customer satisfaction goals
· Partners with Business Manager for presentation of finance products, preparation of closing documents and setting up deliveries
· Promotes teamwork, supports and works with other team members, departments and locations to insure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, financing, delivery and subsequent servicing of the boat
· Actively participates in boat shows, store and off-site sales and customer events
· Showroom and outside inventory management, ordering and coordination of display
· Attends department head meetings
· Uses all available resources to grow sales, gain market share and increase margins
· Receives and distributes leads promptly each day. Executing in minutes, not hours or days.
· Preforms other related duties as required
Qualifications & Expectations
· Maintains customer satisfaction, both internal and external
· Achieves or exceeds sales unit and revenue goals
· Effective utilization of sales tools, including One Water Sales Processes and CRM
· Achievement of required One Water Sales Certifications
· Handles customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction immediately
· Great organizational, communication and people skills
