What You'll Do as: Fitter
- Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining metals
- Interpreting specifications, drawings, diagrams, and blueprints
- Maintaining and inspecting welding equipment and tools
- Operating cranes and machinery to transport materials
- Testing joint strength during and after project completion
Work Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- Experience in fitting structural steel products
- Knowledge of OSHA safety procedures and standards
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Proficiency with measuring tools
