What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Onin?

- Weekly pay
- AM shift: $16.00/hr to start
- PM shift: $17.00/hr to start

What You’ll Do As A Machine Operator:
- Proper operation of injection molding machines
- Perform quality checks on products
- Maintain a clean workstation
- secondary operations at the press such as trimming, visual inspection of parts according to quality criteria, and proper packaging methods.
- Other duties as needed for production
· follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
· operate molding presses.
· clear simple jams and restart automation.
· adjust and change films as required.
· count, organize and package parts per requirements.
· work as a team.
The environment is very fast paced and is climate controlled, but if you’re a quick learner, and a motivated team player, there’s a lot of opportunity here.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing experience (desired, but not required)
- Positive outlook while working through obstacles
- Self-starter, high level of initiative
- Detail oriented
- Good time management skills
- Good communication skills – written, verbal, active listening
