What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Operator position at Onin?
Excellent opportunity with an industry leader looking for the best and brightest in Quality Control, to join a growing team!
- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, with 30 minute lunch break and occasional early morning start or late evening finish times
- Hourly Pay: $18-$22/hr
- Responsible for assignments related to the production and delivery of non-hazardous liquid admixtures for use in concrete, and maintenance of plant facilities.
What you'll do as a Plant Operator:
- Confirm BOLs (Bill of Ladings) vs. purchase order, unload material, perform QA test sample, log amount of product received, when, and from whom.
- Assist with raw material inventory readings and control
- Load description sheet showing product & quantity loaded, where and to whom it will be delivered, delivery tickets, inventory depletion log entry confirming gallons leaving the plant.
- Batch finished products from Bills of Materials (batch tickets)
- Load finished product for delivery to customer sites by pumping & metering liquid product from plant storage tanks into totes or semi tanker trucks.
- Recover signed customer delivery receipts and distribute them internally to the proper Chryso team members, upon return of delivery truck .
- Wash delivery truck, clean plant, repair pumps & meters as needed)
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might Have:
- Current driver’s license, good driving record, and CDL license preferred.
- 1 year of Sit Down Forklift (2 prong) operating experience required
- Basic understanding of computers, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Microsoft SharePoint, and Sage
- Work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)
- Able to lift 80 lbs unassisted. Able to climb ladders. Able to work/stand on concrete plant floor for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of basic liquid & pneumatic plumbing
