What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Lab Technician position at Onin?
The Senior Technician will work closely with Mechanical and Thermal Engineers in materials management and prototype hardware modifications.
Work Experience
The responsibilities of the role include the following:
· Ship and receive systems and components domestically and internationally
· Manage lab equipment calibration
·Apply thermal couplers to circuit boards, and modify heatsinks and fans for thermal studies
· Build prototype cables
· Manage and organize physical lab hardware including: External power supplies, air and thermal chambers,
Basic Qualifications:
· Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
· Relevant experience working within a hardware product development team
· Experience and highly skilled in instrumenting computer equipment
· Experience preparing and shipping materials
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of server/computer hardware technology.
Experience working within a hardware product development lab
Logistics experience managing import/export requirements and executing worldwide shipments.
