What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Data Analyst position at OnLogic?

You are motivated when synthesizing data from a variety of sources and delivering actionable analysis and insights to a team. By presenting the right analysis to the right team members you will help ensure that OnLogic becomes the first choice in Industrial Computers in no time. You get energy from achieving ambitious goals, such as achieving 20% growth this year, and you are happy to help set these goals for the marketing team. You work closely collaborating with the marketing team to analyze the business and craft the best path forward. After all, you are constantly looking for opportunities to improve team outcomes.
This is what your day looks like. You:
- Meet with marketing peers to define data needs for their respective areas.
- Analyze performance and attribution of all marketing channels, distill key trends and collaborate with peers across all areas of marketing to determine actions to improve ROI.
- Evaluate customer retention rates and customer lifetime values and generate actionable insights.
- Identify and track Key Performance Indicators and ROI for marketing campaigns, making improvement recommendations to peers across all areas of marketing.
- Hold peers accountable to vetting trends or recommendations and implementing them when appropriate.
- Own, create, improve and maintain all marketing data reports and visualizations.
- Gather market and customer data from internal and external resources (i.e. market reports, customer input, etc.).
- Aggregate internal & external data and distill key trends related to market dynamics and customer needs.
- Help inform target audience personas by providing customer intelligence from departments across the organization
- Explore the benefit of external industry analyst relations for an organization.
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales teams to identify target markets and applications, as well as target customers, to drive business growth over the next 1-5 years

You have at least 2 years demonstrable experience in marketing data analysis with accompanying success stories. You are a proactive, entrepreneurial person with a strong analytical mind and you have problem solving skills. You are able to dive deep into the data, as well as recognize trends at a global level and communicate them concisely. You work with the customer in mind, you put commercial interest first and you can work independently as well as in a team of marketing professionals. You have a healthy dose of positivity and assertiveness.

- You have experience setting up marketing reporting to be scalable, remain current, and provide actionable data.
- You have trained marketing teams to understand reports and dashboards.
- You have evaluated the performance of primary marketing campaigns on a regular basis, drawing conclusions and implementing learnings.
- You are comfortable recommending global marketing goals to marketing leadership in advance of each reporting period.
- You have a natural talent for creating & owning: a database/repository of customer insights for an organization, global revenue reporting by industry & solution, Total Available Market & Growth reporting for target segments/geographies, and an understanding of market share by segments/geographies.
- You pride yourself in being able to create and implement a customer survey strategy (including Net Promoter Score).
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
