We are seeking an experienced Recruiter who has a demonstrated ability to find leadership talent capable of elevating a business to the next level. This includes developing, facilitating and implementing all phases of the recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the HR and leadership teams, develop effective recruitment strategies, goals and objectives to achieve optimal staffing
- Source appropriate candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline, concentrating on leadership positions
- Recommend new and creative sources for active and passive candidate recruiting and effectively manage the recruiting budget
- Build talent networks to create a pool of continual qualified candidates
- Facilitate and assist in the interviewing and hiring process by developing candidate summaries, orchestrating individual and panel interviews, conducting reference checks and preparing offer letters & background checks.
- Assess resumes and interview qualified candidates who possess the relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitudes required for the position
- Make hiring recommendations based on quality of applicants and ability to meet/exceed job expectations
- Own candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions and position requirements ensuring that laws and regulations are followed
- Assist in developing internship and apprenticeship programs with various colleges and universities as well as build relationships with foreign exchange sponsors to maximize a continual employment pool of seasonal job candidates
- Requirements:
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Able to make decisions independently
- Possess a working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
- Able to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint)
- Understand effective interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Possess a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field (preferred)
Experience: Minimum three (3) years of recruiting experience preferrably in hospitality
