Ontra is seeking a Legal Resourcing Specialist to join our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will help nurture our unique business model by pairing lawyers from our lawyer network with our clients, with an eye towards staffing assignments that make sense from a holistic perspective. This person will be an essential member of our Legal Partnerships team focused on providing an outstanding staffing experience for lawyers, clients, and internal Ontra stakeholders.
The Legal Resourcing Specialist will report directly to the Director of Legal Resourcing of Ontra, and the package includes a competitive base salary, equity, and full benefits. The preferred location for this role is New York, though we are open to applicants in other major U.S. cities.*

Responsibilities:
- Play matchmaker between our lawyers and clients, working with the Director of Legal Resourcing to identify the best lawyer for an engagement, propose engagements to lawyers, and manage statuses across our tech stack to keep all stakeholders apprised of progress.
- Collaborate with the Account Management team to understand client needs in order to target the right lawyer partner; the Community team to help identify process improvements to how we onboard lawyers onto our platform and better their on-platform experience; and the Product team to identify app improvements.
- Become a go-to staffing expert whose feedback and experience of the day-to-day staffing process will shape the future of the resourcing team and go-forward plan for resourcing at Ontra.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of resourcing/recruiting experience; within the legal industry preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You understand how to work well with a variety of individuals with different personalities, backgrounds, and needs.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Adept at working cross-functionally with legal partnerships, account management, and product teams to support evolving customer and lawyer needs.
- Detail & Data Oriented: Attention to detail while monitoring and maintaining the integrity of our data. Experience with Salesforce or other relational database software required.
- Organizational Excellence: You enjoy establishing an internal framework of standards and processes while delivering an ever-improving value to customers, lawyers, and internal stakeholders.
