Onward Search is hiring a Digital Design Traffic Coordinator on a 4-6-month extendable contract for a global consumer health client
Notes :
MUST be able to go on-site 3 days a week
Responsibilities :
- Project Managements and Coordination :
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications.
- Create and maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Allocate design tasks to appropriate team members.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Identify and address any potential bottlenecks in project workflow.
- Deliverables :
- Well-coordinated and efficiently managed design projects.
- Establish process for quality assurance and control for design deliverables.
- Project handover from Global to Regional teams on completion of clear and effective communication between project stakeholders.
- Process improvement recommendations and implementations.
- Resource Management :
- In partnership with the Design Realization Manager lead, assess the availability and workload of design resources.
- Assign designers to projects based on their skills and availability.
- Ensure designers have the necessary tools, information, and resources to complete their work effectively.
- Manage resource conflicts and reallocate tasks as needed.
- Communication & Collaboration :
- Act as the central point of contact for design project inquiries and updates.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between design teams, project managers, business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve conflicts or issues related to project priorities, requirements, or resources.
- Collaboration with Design colleagues across Brand Building and DRC
- Quality Assurance :
- Establish process for review of design deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications and link to print feasibility (PPM).
- Provide feedback and guidance to designers for continuous improvement.
- Implement quality control processes to maintain consistency and excellence in design work.
- Process Improvement Documentation & Reporting :
- Continuously evaluate and refine design workflows and processes for efficiency and productivity.
- Identify opportunities for automation or optimization in the design project lifecycle.
- Implement best practices to streamline project management and traffic control.
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including timelines, resource allocation, and project status updates.
- Generate regular reports on project metrics, team performance, and resource utilization.
- Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications :
- 5-7 years of experience
- Wrike, Asana, Workfront or other PM tools
- Project Management : Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to create and manage project schedules, allocate resources, and track progress (specifically with a focus on packaging, label and / or artwork).
- Design Knowledge : A basic understanding of design principles and processes to effectively coordinate design projects related to packaging / label / artwork.
- Resource Allocation : The ability to assess workloads, availability, and skills of design team members to allocate tasks appropriately.
- Quality Assurance : Knowledge of design quality standards and the ability to review design deliverables for adherence to these standards.
- Data Analysis : Competency in data analysis tools to generate project reports and make data-driven decisions for process improvement.
- Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with design software and collaboration tools to facilitate project management and communication.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Organization : Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, tasks, and timelines simultaneously.
- Leadership : Leadership qualities to motivate and guide design teams, even without direct authority over team members.
- Teamwork : Collaboration skills to foster a positive team environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Time Management : Effective time management skills to ensure projects stay on schedule and deadlines are met.
- Adaptability : Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and requirements.
- Attention to Detail : Keen attention to detail to spot inconsistencies or errors in design work.
- Conflict Resolution : The ability to resolve conflicts or disagreements within the team or between stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management : Skill in managing partner or stakeholder expectations and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Creativity : Creativity in finding innovative ways to optimize design workflows and processes.
- Critical Thinking : The capability to think critically and make informed decisions to improve project efficiency.
