Salary: $100,000 depending on experience

Opportunity 
The Senior Marketing Director will function as the CMO’s righthand and help lead our marketing team.  Whereas the CMO focuses on strategy, the Senior Marketing Director will help guide strategy and lead marketing execution. The Senior Marketing Director will touch every part of marketing from collaborating with the Creative team to running campaigns that lead to better performance. The Senior Marketing Director will have the opportunity to be promoted to Marketing VP and ultimately a C-suite role, including joining the Leadership Team, if he or she performs at a high level.  

Essential Duties  

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.  
  • Oversee the planning and purchasing of media when necessary to strengthen campaigns. Serve as the primary point of contact for promotional agreements (paid and trade) with media partners. 
  • Help lead and develop a team of marketing professionals both internal and external providing direction and strategic vision based on brand goals, while shepherding scope, budget, and overall resources.  
  • Analyze growth strategies, market dynamics and competitive landscape by region and event.  
  • Develop tactics to increase digital sales through accelerating traffic, increasing conversion and expanding lead generation.  
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Creative team, ensuring assets for advertising and other projects are delivered on-time, on-brand, and on-budget.  
  • Drive key business results through integrated campaigns including digital, social, email, television, radio, outdoor, and other tactics. 
  • Work with creative talent through design reviews and helping connect the dots with higher performing assets.  
  • Manage budget including negotiation with vendors, placement of orders, approval of invoices, staying on or under budget, recommending growth opportunities, and planning for future needs.  
  • Oversee and improve integrated communications campaigns and programs that drive growth, brand experience, awareness, and value.  
  • Interface with internal teams and internal/external communications resources to provide integrated marketing campaigns.  
  • Coordinate with leadership to maintain awareness of product roadmaps and to develop key themes and messages for incorporation into promotional plans.  
  • Analyze media demographics, manage media placements and promotions, negotiate rates, and monitor effectiveness via survey tools.  
  • Evaluate and analyze the results of each campaign and program and make improvements.  
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed and on-time.  
  • Report to CMO. 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred 

  • Ability to delegate but also do the actual work needed to complete projects.  
  • Strong vision to see a project from conception to final execution.  
  • Broad based of knowledge in many forms of marketing, sales, creative, etc.  
  • Strong knowledge in marketing and a high functioning marketing department’s need. 
  • Solid project and time management skills.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 


Qualifications and Experience Preferred 

  • 8 years of related experience.
