Opal Day Spa is a beautiful boutique day spa located in Sewalls Point (Stuart, FL). We offer an extensive menu of services ranging from facials, massages, injectables, hair services and more. We provide a welcoming environment where our clients come knowing they will receive exceptional service every time they walk through our doors.
The Lead Spa Coordinator at Opal Day Spa is responsible for overseeing spa activities, appointments, and assisting the Spa Owner in driving sales. The ideal candidate will be positive, outgoing and uplifting all times. This role involves ensuring the seamless execution of key business initiatives for Opal Day Spa and maintaining impeccable customer service standards. Flexibility is essential as this position requires availability for varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and sick cover.
Our business is open Tuesday- Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. You must be able to work these hours.
Responsibilities
- Relay maintenance and housekeeping requests to the appropriate staff members.
- Answer phone calls, book appointments accurately, and promote/recommend retail products to guests.
- Provide consistent high standards of customer service by greeting and assisting guests according to spa operation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and ensure a safe and clean spa and fitness environment for employees and guests.
- Handle guest complaints promptly, efficiently, and confidentially, communicating all issues to the Spa Owner.
- Check guests in and out, process payments, run daily spa reports, and respond to email inquiries promptly.
- Promote retail sales and services through training, tools, and events, and achieve financial objectives by monitoring treatment bookings and maximizing sales.
- Collaborate with the Spa Owner to promote all aspects of the spa facility, assist in inventories, and perform monthly scheduling.
- Create a motivating environment for staff and guests.
- Implement and create spa team incentives and contests.
- Ensure staff adherence to uniform guidelines.
- Assist in the timely opening and closing of Opal Day Spa.
- Facilitate daily reconciliation of cash drawer.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a spa environment is highly preferred.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings & days around holiday Proficiency in computer systems and POS software
- We are looking for a long term teammember for this position that can advance into a management role in the near future-

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
