As an integral part of our company, you'll have the opportunity to shape our brand presence at events and drive our marketing initiatives forward.
Responsibilities: As an Event Marketing Manager, you will take full ownership of all aspects of our non-traditional marketing department, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit and driving sales, team training, and negotiation efforts.
You will possess strong budgeting skills and meticulous attention to administrative details.
You'll lead by example, ensuring our presence in every relevant show within the territory, whether home shows, festivals, or other events where homeowners gather.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Effective Budget Management: Drive sales through strategic planning and execution, maximizing our presence and ROI at every event while adhering to strict budgeting requirements.
2. Team Training: Develop and train a high-performing event/sales marketing team, empowering them to excel in their roles.
3. Producer Negotiation: Negotiate with event producers for our participation, ensuring optimal terms and visibility.
4. Comprehensive Show Coverage: Ensure our presence in every show within the territory, regardless of type, to reach potential homeowners.
5. Adherence to Instructions: Follow instructions meticulously, taking direction and running with it to achieve desired outcomes.
6. Problem-Solving: Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, addressing challenges on the spot to maintain event success.
7. Administrative Excellence: Handle all nitty-gritty administrative tasks, from event research and recruitment to team management and documentation.
8. Technology proficiency: Utilize technology effectively to streamlines processes, analyze results, and optimize strategies within the department.
Requirements:- Proven track record in event marketing, with demonstrated sales leadership and negotiation skills.- Strong project management skills, capable of meticulous planning and execution to cover all relevant shows within the territory.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, vital for team training and negotiation efforts.- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, able to adapt to various event types while maintaining focus on homeowner engagement.- Analytical skills to derive insights from data for sales optimization and strategic planning.- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage all aspects of event marketing independently.- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and non-traditional working hours, to accommodate event schedules.- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory to ensure comprehensive show coverage.
