About the Role
We’re looking for an Events Manager, focused on Employee events, who combines creativity with organization and attention to detail. This role requires flexibility, quick independent decision-making, and the ability to lead multiple cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaborative skills and can work across teams to deliver impactful events that reflect OpenAI's values.
As an Events Manager, you will play a key role in building, managing, and executing external and internal events geared toward fostering a deeper sense of company culture. This includes supporting small- and large-scale off-site events, regular high-touch community and employee resource group (ERG) events, company-wide events, and other employee-related initiatives – both locally and around the world.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. Occasional business travel may be required for this role.
