The candidate will have plenty of skill and imagination to create beautiful, engaging visuals for different types of video content across multiple brands. He or she will:

Create visually stunning motion graphics, including (but not limited to):

--Title sequences
--Infographics
--Lower thirds
--Transitions and interstitials
--Animated illustrations
--Logo animations
--End credits

Design graphic assets for projects as necessary and within brand guidelines. Collaborate with executive director, producer and video/graphic design teams to:
--Establish clear processes for ideation, execution, revision and file delivery;
--Develop and implement a consistent visual identity for each project.
--Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to agreed specifications.
--Collaborate with producer and video team to keep multiple projects on track simultaneously.
--Keep producer and executive director informed of project progress.
--keep track of revision requests and implement in a timely manner.

The right candidate will have:

--Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Illustrator

--Familiarity with basics of digital workflows, such as -
--File organization
--Version control
--Data safety
--Understanding of video codecs and deliverable formats
--Ability to assess scope and work requirements for projects ahead of time
--Ability to adapt to sudden shifts in production schedules/priorities
--Strong attention to detail
--Strong communication skills
--Portfolio of previous graphic design and motion design work
--Commitment to work within the values of the Roman Catholic Church

Skills in the following are a bonus but not required:

--Adobe Audition
--DaVinci Resolve
--Character animation
--Digital illustration
