PreK Cooperative Partnership Coordinator
Job Title: Pre-K Cooperative Partnership Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Education
Status: Exempt
PURPOSE OF JOB: To assist the Director of Education in supervising, managing, and evaluating all facets of the Pre-K Cooperative Program at Operation Breakthrough.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the daily operation of 6 early childhood classrooms (P4s).- Supervise assigned personnel, conduct yearly performance evaluations, and adhere to attendance and staffing guidelines, payroll regulations, and annual requirements.
- Monitor Pre-K Cooperative Budget. Maintain current knowledge of financial requirements for reimbursement, monitor reimbursement to compensation, and purchases of the program.
- Monitor Compliance. Plan, provide training, and monitor implementation and records to ensure compliance with State and Accreditation regulations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Education to report required data as requested.
- Maintain all required documentation.
- Provide supervision and coaching to enhance comprehension and implementation of quality early childhood education practices.
- Assess data to ensure its value, accuracy, and completeness. Additionally, identify any supplementary information or trends that could be beneficial for administrators and teachers.
- Keep abreast of current research, trends, methods, and practices in early childhood education.
- Evaluate and assess program standards and suggest ways to enhance teaching and delivery.
- Develop and promote parent programming to support better communication, understanding, and trust between parents and the school community that covers different aspects of early childhood education and development.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director of Education and the CEO.
- Maintain and model a high standard of professional conduct.
- Exercise proactive leadership in promoting the vision and mission of Operation Breakthrough.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in working with young children
- Experience leading or coaching a team of teachers
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and strong communication skills (oral, written, and observation)
- Knowledge of curriculum and teaching strategies that are developmentally appropriate for young learners
- Highly ethical and confidential
- Master’s degree in early childhood education or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years of combined experience teaching young children and providing supervision and coaching to teachers.
Length of work year: 12 months
Salary : $46,700 - $59,100
