What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admission Coordinator M-F (5:30 am-1:30 pm) Rotating Saturday position at Operation PAR, Inc.?
Full time position open for a Admissions Coordinator at Operation PAR's Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) program. MAPS provides quality non-residential opioid maintenance therapy to eligible persons who suffer from the effects of opioid dependence. Operation PAR, Inc. is a nonprofit organization.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This position coordinates care in a fast-paced, out-patient substance abuse treatment setting. Tasks include (though are not limited to):
- Admitting new patients
- Computer data entry
- Operating multi-line phone system
- Scheduling appointments
- General office duties (ex:scanning, copying, faxing)
HOURS: 40-hours/week scheduled within the following business hours.
(must be able to work weekend shifts as needed).
Schedule
Monday- Friday (two days each week) 5:30am 1:30pm
COMPENSATION: $ 15.50/hour
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- HS Diploma/GED required.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Must pass background and fingerprinting checks
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to manage time and resources
- Strong ability to multi-task.
- Ability to speak coherently and convey concepts
- Computer proficiency required
- Must have a friendly demeanor and possess excellent customer/client service skills.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to write accurately and legibly
- Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach
- Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
- Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
- Good hearing and vision
