Office Assistant/Substance Abuse Technician
Does all front office work including answering phones, assessing and collecting fees, insurance, Avatar, admissions, and discharges.
Education:
GED or graduated from high school
Experience:
A minimum of one year of office experience.
Preferred three years of experience in an office setting.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of facility based administrative and financial operations
- Knowledge of office management and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of financial management skills
- Knowledge of addiction & mental health treatment, managed care & third-party systems
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
- Ability to use of applicable computer software (ie. Tower, Excel, Word, etc.) proficiently
- Ability to apply superior organizational and management skills
- Ability to establish positive working relationships and effectively delegate duties

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION AND REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Florida drivers license
- Must pass background and fingerprint check
- HIV/AIDS training required every two years
