Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry
- Identifies talent, develops team members through performance feedback, management to data-driven outcomes, and professional growth expectations
- Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry
- Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve, including key performance indicators
- Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions
- Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs
- Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to project budgets
- Prepares and implements training department budget and provides recommendations for training procurements and resources
- Live OPEXUS core values and foster an inclusive culture by promoting diversity of thought internally and externally, while modeling smart and healthy leadership practices
- Drive corporate initiatives to promote continuous improvement and achievement of business goals
- Develop your craft by staying current on OPEXUS product knowledge, Customer Success trends, and industry knowledge
- Mentor new and junior employees to cultivate employee experience and growth opportunities
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4-year degree, 3 years of progressive training experience, including direct supervisory experience required
- Deep understanding of training processes, learning frameworks, delivery formats and modern best practices
- Knowledge of SaaS technology practices
- Proven and demonstrated leadership skills, dedicated team resource, and company culture champion
- Demonstrated ability deliver virtual and in-person trainings to groups of varying size
- Must commit to a hybrid-office setting and be in the office a minimum of two days per week
- Must be able to train virtually and in-person at user conferences, user groups and other customer-engagement events
- Experience using industry-standard and company-specific metrics to promote accountability and transparency
- Ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with stakeholders
- Can plan strategic initiatives and execute tactics while following set timelines
