SUMMARY
To perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the mission and goals of Albany-Troy Cataract & Laser Associates, PLLC. Primarily responsible for charge entry, payment processing, and insurance claim follow-up on a daily basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma, or GED, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a billing department within a health care organization. Familiarity with payment posting, strong AR and experience with Medicare, Medicaid and other government plans a plus. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
CPC preferred.
