Job Summary:
Collaborate with the Service Manager to efficiently process and manage all field service work orders. This includes tracking and collecting service reports, reviewing them for accuracy, and ensuring proper documentation of charges and segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and Verification: Ensure accuracy in labor, mileage, and parts listed on work orders.
- Work Order Management: Handle the opening, closing, and modification of service work orders.
- Warranty Review: Check machine repair history and current work orders for potential warranty coverage.
- Invoice Processing: Process purchase orders and external invoices promptly, adhering to company procedures.
- Service Report Management: Review all open work orders and ensure service reports are completed and corrected as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized folders for field service work order history.
- System Proficiency: Stay informed and proficient in using the "Dealer Business System" as required.
- Equipment and Supply Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the necessary equipment, supplies, and procedures for the role.
- Professional Communication: Answer phones promptly and professionally.
- Quality Work: Ensure work is completed accurately and without errors.
- Efficiency: Follow directions precisely and complete tasks efficiently.
