Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the development and implementation of event plans and timelines.
- Coordinate logistics including venue booking, catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation.
- Support the preparation of event materials such as invitations, agendas, and promotional items.
- On-Site Event Management:
- Set up and break down event spaces.
- Provide on-site support during events, including registration, attendee assistance, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure all events run smoothly and address any issues that arise promptly.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain event databases and records.
- Assist in budget tracking and expense reporting.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Communication and Marketing:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials and event promotions.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Manage social media updates and other event-related communications.
- Post-Event Activities:
- Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders.
- Assist in creating post-event reports and evaluations.
- Participate in debrief meetings to discuss event outcomes and improvements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
