Location preferably in or around Albany, NY Area. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory. This role requires a motivated and goal-oriented individual who is able to build relationships with key decision-makers, identify new sales opportunities, and close deals. This role will be a combination of commission-based sales and account management. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, excellent communication skills, and experience in the sign industry.
This position may require occasional after-hours work. A valid driver's license is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and execute a sales plan for your assigned territory, including identifying target accounts and establishing relationships with decision makers.
· Respond to all inbound sales channels in a timely manner.
· Build relationships with existing customers to drive retention and upsell opportunities.
· Negotiate contracts and approve pricing with clients.
· Provide on-site production demonstrations and training.
· Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and new products or services.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementation of products or services
· Provide regular updates on account activity and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a field-based role
· Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a quota-driven environment
· Ability to travel weekly within the assigned territory (up to 75%) Typical week consist of 3 days a week on the road including hotel nights. Will many times be home Monday for office day and back Fridays to wrap up and planning for the next week.
· Understanding of CRM systems and experience using them to manage sales pipelines.
