General Description Of Position
- The Associate Human Resources Generalist provides HR support to plant and sales employees in a variety of locations.
- This role assists the HR Manager and other generalists on assigned projects by providing professional support in functional areas of Human Resources including benefits administration, employee relations, performance and recruitment.
- Coordinates parts of the employee life cycle including new hire processes, termination and benefit calculation using HRIS system and a variety of vendor websites.
- This person will have limited expertise in three or more functional HR areas such as recruitment, FMLA/leave management, ADA, employee relations and benefits administration.
- They will often act as first point of contact to an employee related to HR processes/policy.
- 2 year degree AA, bachelors degree preferred in HR or Industrial Relations
- PHR or SHRM CP certification preferred
- 3 years related HR support Experience
- 1 year payroll experience
- Professional interpersonal skills, verbal/written communication and computer skills
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to handle highly confidential information excellent organization, administrative and creative problem solving skills
- Must be able to interface with employees on all shifts
- Eligible to work in an ITAR environment
- Travel up to 15%
