What are the responsibilities and job description for the Care Team Supervisor position at Optime Care, Inc?
Responsibility for the planning, direction, and coordination of the team’s operations, working with the Care Director; including formulating procedures, monitoring day to day team operations, training team members when appropriate, and planning of use of team resources.
Essential Functions
Oversee, assist, and provide ongoing support in the day to day activities of the team;
Assist Care Director as a liaison and day to day contact with assigned clients, as needed;
Determine, jointly with the Care Director, team operations and processes;
Responsible, jointly with the Care Director, for the team’s performance to KPI’s and budget;
Review payer, operations and activity reports, and other data to measure performance to goals;
Review daily reports and reimbursement procedures of care team to ensure operating processes are maintained;
Assist Care Director in establishing and implementing team goals, objectives, and procedures;
Assist Care Director in interviewing, hiring and training new employees, or oversee those personnel processes;
Develop and manage ongoing knowledge of team members;
Identify areas of strength within team member and develop them accordingly;
Identify areas of opportunity within the team and address through action plans;
Provide direction and feedback to team members on an ongoing basis;
Oversee and assist in activities directly related to providing services;
Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties
Qualifications - The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform essential functions:
At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Specialty Pharmacy, Patient Services, Pharmacy Operations, Payer Reimbursement, Direct Personell Management, Pharmaceutical Industry;
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources;
Knowledge of business principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction;
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar;
Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems;
Knowledge of the principles and content of math including calculations and problem solving;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other programs as required;
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet team and organizational goals;
Travel as required
