Job Summary

The Head of Sales Operations and Engagement will have full responsibility for the strategy and execution of sales operations that partners with the sales leadership team in supporting and driving profitable revenue and subscriber growth. This leader will be responsible for strategies to drive sales order completion and team engagement within the consumer and business segments across the Optimum footprint, a brand of Altice USA. This senior leader will report to the EVP Chief Revenue Officer. This leader will be transformation oriented with a strong sense of urgency, perseverance and open mindedness to lead and drive change.
This leader will be responsible for leading the sales enablement strategy to ensure our agents are prepared, motivated and engaged to drive the highest levels of performance. In addition, the leader will be responsible for supporting order completion through real-time help desk functionalities, order creation support and process management to ensure the order gets completed.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving strategic business initiatives across the sales organization that are in support of our strategy and business performance expectations
  • Lead strategy for resource management to ensure we operate as efficiently and effectively as possible in support of our revenue and performance targets
  • Create sales operations roadmap in partnership with key cross functional leaders to ensure our infrastructure, tools, processes evolve to deliver a positive sales and customer experience
  • Lead sales readiness and change management plans for key business initiatives ensuring our sales teams are fully equipped to generate profitable sales and a great customer experience
  • Responsible for strategy and implementation of sales communications and sales commission plan design in tight partnership with sales leadership and finance partners
  • Establish a culture of action, urgency, and discipline, with continuous data-driven decision making and performance measurement
  • Cultivate a high-performing and winning sales culture that motivates and inspires large teams to exceed business objectives. Provide strategic direction to capitalize on market opportunities and grow market-share.
  • Establish disciplined data-driven workforce planning to align with the business case for each channel

Qualifications

  • BA required/MA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales or sales operations leadership and/or business performance transformation with a proven track record of consistent delivery against business plans and targets
  • Ability to regularly be present in Altice USA Headquarters in Long Island City, NY, while also regularly being present in the Optimum field across 21 states
  • Strong stakeholder partnership across key leadership roles including but not limited to regional engagement, field operations, product, marketing, go-to-market strategy and CX
  • Experience in broadband, mobile, cable industry or similar regulated B2B oriented business is necessary
  • P&L leadership and mindset with a strong track record of growth
  • Proven experience building a culture of data-driven decision-making, action, and delivery
  • Experience managing across a diverse and highly distributed footprint strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate across technology, operations, and marketing teams to optimize and expand product offerings and solutions while driving growth and delivering of customer promise
  • Proven executive presence, strategic capabilities, effective collaborator, and superior influencing skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing and providing sound, data-driven guidance and decisions to senior business leadership on sales strategies and performance
  • Demonstrates influential leadership with authentic motivation capabilities, and proven ability to successfully manage through transformation and change

Salary : $115,000 - $145,000
