Position Summary
The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the financial management and accounting processes in a rapidly growing organization. This also includes oversight of accounting systems and processes, financial reporting and developing appropriate internal controls. In this position, the Corporate Controller will have the opportunity to develop financial procedures to implement across the company. This is a full-time position reporting to the CFO, in the Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of combined Accounting & Finance experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, general ledger, month end close and reporting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
- Research technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Work with external auditors to manage the annual audit.
- Work with external tax preparers to timely file annual taxes.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business and accounting policies, procedures, and processes.
- Lead the financial integration of all future M&A transaction targets..
- Continuous development of the corporate accounting team/department to support the ongoing growth of the organization.
- Support FP&A to assist in the coordination and preparation of the annual budget and mid-year forecasts. Furthermore, coordinate with FP&A to prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and related KPI’s
- Will work closely with pharmacy leadership as their finance partner providing business and decision support in support of improving P&L through efficacies in processes, identified cost savings opportunities, and revenue improvement. To successfully do this you must partner closely with field and leadership team members at each pharmacy to build and foster strong working relationships and work with each to help them get to the results they are looking to achieve.
- Ability to multi-task, achieve deadlines, develop realistic goals, effectively prioritize and balance workload in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven working experience as a Controller in a fast paced environment preferred
- Multi-site experience with consolidations required
- 7 year of combined accounting and finance experience
- Company side Audit preparation required.
- Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with teams in all departments and all levels of the OptioRx organization is required.
- Strong teambuilding skills, mentoring, and training is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, CPA preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, including purchase accounting, revenue recognition and lease accounting.
- Experience in integrating financial systems, policies and procedures for acquired businesses.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities required
- Sage Intacct experience is a plus
- Experience with offshore staff is beneficial
- Experience developing and presenting financial statements and reporting packages
- Experience selecting and implementing a general ledger or other financial reporting system a plus
- Excellent accounting software utilization and administration skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Candidates must be able to travel based on the business needs of the organization. Travel is broken down into two segments Steady State, and Critical State. Travel expectation to range from 0% to 25%.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
